Yard Sale


The Community Wide Yard Sale is a popular annual event in the Port Sydney/Utterson area.

The 2024 Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, 8am-2pm

The Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the Community Wide Yard Sale again this year!
This popular event is an important fundraising opportunity for our Chamber
and our local Community Groups and Service Clubs.
A portion of the Chamber’s proceeds from this year’s Yard Sale
will be going towards the installation of new signage on the back of the Hall Sign
which will include a map of the area.
We sincerely THANK YOU for supporting this event through
your Registration, Map Ad Order, and/or Donation.


FAQ: IS REGISTRATION REQUIRED?
To be a Community Supporter listed on the event Map  – YES.
If someone submits a late Registration,
there will be a Last Minute List of Additional Addresses posted at Map Stations.
Donations to the Yard Sale can also be made.
Please help us spread the word about the importance of Registration.

Here is how you can participate:

REGISTER your Yard Sale and be a COMMUNITY SUPPORTER.

Cost is $25. Your address will be listed on the Yard Sale Map.
We will post official signage at your driveway.
Register in person Saturday May 18th, Port Sydney Community Hall 
10am-3pm at our Business Showcase 

REGISTER In Person at the Chamber office
(at 4 – 15 South Mary Lake Rd., Port Sydney)


OR REGISTER ONLINE until MAY 28.

If you are not Registering a Yard Sale at your property,

LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE
Cost is $50 + HST. Circulation is approximately 300 copies (black and white).
Maps will be available during the event
and Ads will remain posted to our website for the year.
Map Ads can be ordered during In Person Registration
time slots (see above) or you may Order online.

ON YARD SALE DAY...

ATTEND the Yard Sale to SHOP for Bargains
and SUPPORT your Community Group fundraising efforts.

To start your day, BUY your YARD SALE MAP for a
Minimum Donation of $2 each
at one of our Map Stations (see below).


Then CHECK the ‘Last Minute’ List of Additional Addresses
and ADD them to your MAP.


HOW & WHERE to BUY a MAP
MAP STATIONS open at 7am (or shortly after) at:
15 South Mary Lake Rd. (our Office parking lot)
Near the corner of Greer Rd. & Muskoka Rd. 10
Port Sydney Community Hall (607 Muskoka Rd. 10)
Corner of Deer Lake Rd. & Muskoka Rd. 10
If a Map Station is closed, please go to Port Sydney Hall.

(Maps are ONLY available at Map Stations – while supplies last.)
(Maps are NOT available in advance or electronically.)


Next, just FOLLOW the Map and Arrows to the driveways
of COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS who have Registered their Yard Sales.
You will also find TRUNK SALES at the Port Sydney Community Hall parking lot
and COMMUNITY GROUP fundraisers to support along the way.
